more bath stuff.....

It's not a very sunny day, so the colors seem to be a little off....

I know it looks totally wild, but I love it, and honestly it doesn't look so crazy in person!

Here are some of the things I have purchased so far.

This may be a better link to see the Ralph Lauren's Cowgirl Blue. For the life of me, I can't seem to copy the paint chip on to this site. It's like they DON'T WANT ME TO!

I have 2 vintage cupboards in the barn that could work. They are both very different in style, and it's just hard to tell which would do the trick! I hope Big daddy doesn't have a fit when it's time to lug them up our tall narrow stairs!

I am off to our little Maddie Moo's Birthday party today!

I can't believe this little peanut is four! She now jumps from couch to chair in a single leap! She can kick her big brother's butt, and is very good at fluttering her eyelashes to get what she wants. She is a tomboy, there is no doubt. We were thinking of signing her up for snowboarding lessons, because she may find dance too boring. Her Uncle Jon (AKA Big daddy) is a total sucker for her. She has NEVER let us put a single barrett, elastic or scrunchie in her hair! She thinks for herself, but that's O.K.

I just love her so!

busy!

Hey all! Still too busy to write a proper post...and of course we are adding to the drama by fixing up our bathroom a bit! I am in love with Ralph Lauren paint colors, and I've used it all over the house, so wasn't I thrilled to check out his VINTAGE MASTERS collection. The bathroom will be in cowgirl blue. I'm working around the old linoleum floor, which is still in pristine condition, so I've got a bit of a challenge ahead of me, but I like challenges when it comes to decorating. Poor Big Daddy hates them!

A Target popped up fairly close to our neck of the woods, so I was thrilled to find a cool (but pricey) shower curtain, that will match the floor. I also purchased lots of brushed stainless steel. At Lowes I picked up a VERY FUNKY lite fixture and a small white ceiling fan. It's only like 30" in diameter, it's so adorable! I do believe I'm going for a 30's type look. It will look nice on my old plaster/horsehair walls anyway!

We will wait and replace the tub, sink & counter top in the future. I'll need to get back to finishing up the addition, (just a small detour I'm taking here)....but when Hope and Dawn come to visit in the spring it wont be so gross. And now when I take a bath I wont have to grit my teeth as I'm looking at old~disgusting~peeling~moldy wallpaper.

I am working my two doubles in a row, but on Thursday I will try to get some pictures up. I really want to show you before pics. and I want to show you a closeup of this crazy floor I'm talking about!

Collective Souls...I'm still working on our journal!! PLEASE don't give up on me!!

AND...I'm still working on my shop...but I'm at a stand still because we can't seem to get our scanner software to work! We get through the whole process, then it tells us that we can't complete installation because we are not the administrators of this computer!! It's really starting to piss me off!! Does anyone have any ideas?? It's a Visioneer scanner and the software is "scansoft paperport". I need to call them I know...there's just not a lot of time!!

Speaking of the shop...I plan on running some contests....so please stay tuned!

Hey all! Yes, I'm still alive the computer's been to the doctors! We just got it hooked back up, so we'll see how it works. Glad to see I can get online anyway!

I have lots to tell...pictures to post, but quite frankly I'm rather enjoying my Allagash Triple Reserve tonight, so I'll get back to you in a day or two.

In the meantime....
