finally......

FINALLY a little attention is getting paid to Junque Revival! It was so hard with the shows and finishing up other projects to get over there and do some cleaning up and restocking!

but it's just about done.

To fill you in on a few new changes at Junque Revival, I think I'm going to step away and grab myself a glass of wine. You see, I've been working away at this this 7:00 this morning, and it's now 5:40. It's time I tell you!!

THERE...now that I'm in relaxation mode, I wont feel like I have to bomb through this post!

but where to start?

I think I'll fill you all in on the LOOK CLOSELY pendants first. I've decided to retire them. By next weekend I will have added one more batch to the shop, and then when they are gone, there gone! I have a hard time making pieces repetively, and well, I think I've done a pretty good job of it, making literally hundreds over the past two years.

I AM going to replace them with a brand new line called "DREAM PENDANTS". That way I can still offer something under $20.00. I'll also be offering dainty sterling ball chains for sale to go with them.

They are available for sale now!

I've also added some new Revied Relics to the shop, and in this category you can find my new bracelets that have been selling like hotcakes at the shows! I have more in the works, so don't worry if the few I do have are sold.

I've been making some of them using antique victorian napking rings, vintage paper and costume jewelry.

Bird & Butterfly

And one of my new Relic necklaces....

BELLA

The other big addition to the shop is a new category called "Vintage Wares". I've decided to destash AND on top of that I have been picking up little vintage bits here and there all summer. So if you have the collectors bug, this might be for you! It's one of those categories that I will be adding new pieces to all winter long.

Vintage Wall Border ~set of three

Wouldn't these be perfect for collage or altered art?

I've got other items available like vintage purses, hats and more.

One more addition to the shop is the "Altered Art" category. This page will slowly be built up whenever the creating bug strikes. For now "Madeline" is available there.

*PHEW* Think I'm finished babbling?

not quite.

I've decided to have a giveaway with each purchase from now until Christmas!

For any purchase that is between $18.00 and $34.00 I will be giving away a sheet music bundle that has 5-6 pieces of vintage sheet music.

AND, for any customer who spends $35.00 or over will get a free Artsy Ephemera Pack that contains 18-20 pieces of vintage papery goodness!

How's that for Holiday cheer?

hmmmm....I can't believe that I'm done, yet I haven't even finished my glass of wine yet!

Thanks for visiting and CHEERS!

art show

Words can't express what a lovely time I had at the Art Walk Friday night! I met some wonderful new people, got visited by family and friends, and got a chance to view some spectacular art.

On top of this I sold some pieces, and I enjoyed hearing customer feedback.

The whole experience was so positive, and just what I needed after a rough couple of weeks!

Author Cheryl Drake Harris was kind enough to share her warm and inviting studio space with me. I traded her a piece of my jewelry for a signed copy of her book Lily's Ghost. I was touched to see her selling my jewelry a few times! Too funny that gal is.

I got to wander the floors of the Art Dogs building a bit and snapped some photos of pieces that spoke to me.

Karen Adrienne, owner of the Art Dogs, and fabulous lady extraordinaire hung her "nest" series. I just loved every one of them!

Sarah Miller, hip chic and the gal in charge of the Art Walk had one piece for viewing, and it was perhaps one of my favorites at the show!

This is a painting by John Carnes. I enjoyed many of his landscapes, and took several photos, but in the end kept going back to this portraiture.

Tomorrow I'll be back with photos of new pieces for the shop. THANKS so much to those of you who have emailed me....it's all coming SOON!

peace out xoxox

she's a little pooped out........

Yeh...I'm a little worn down, tired and crispy, but ready to get on with new projects and keep the fall momentum going that seems to seek me out and kick my ever-loving arse this time of year.

Just to clue you in on the goings-ons of the show this weekend,  I got a chance to hang with Mary Ann, Melba, Heidi, Mindy & Karen. What a treat to see some of their work in person, and to do a little holiday shopping. I have to admit (confess) that my big purchase was for myself. This is the second purse I've bought from Karen of Simply June, and as usual the quality was perfect, and the material was to die for. My friends and family have been making fun of the old yard sale purse that I've been hauling around, and I have to say that not only do I feel ultra-organized, but quite fashionable with this baby slung over my shoulder. organized? fashionable? Moi?

Karen of  Simply June

You can head over to my Flickr if you'd like to check out more photos.

While there, I also got to meet two talented girly-girls that I had never met until Saturday, Kari and Jana, both making a long distance trip to partake in the show. I am familiar with both of their sites, so was psyched to make their aquaintance. Another super-sweet darling was Melissa, someone who I was not familiar with, but I stopped by her site this morning and immediately linked her! I knew right away that her art and design would be something that I would love.

Across the aisle from us were two wonderful ladies from Kaleidosoul.  Colorful and dear is how I would describe these gals. Well wishes to you both!

Here is a piece I made for display at the show. She was well received....I think I've got to name her. Any ideas?

Now that I am back home, I can start uploading jewelry to Junque Revival, so if you are interested in finding out when the new goods are coming in, you can always sign up for the newsletter (in the right column), as I'll be sending out a note to let you all know when the new pieces are up for sale! I'll also be offering a fun freebie to some of you customers. Stay tuned.....

If you are in the area, don't forget to visit us at the Gardiner Art Walk this Friday night. I'll be in the Art Dogs building drinking wine and telling tales. (OK...forget the tales, I don't know what in the hell I'm talking about, I'm just trying to be silly)

Oh... just in case you're not sure where you are, it's still me, Jes. I decided to clean this site up a bit, it was starting to feel like one of my closets. I've moved all of my links to here.
